czysta - ojczysta

Czystaojczysta (meaning "pure native" vodka in Warsaw Praga’s slang) is a café-club and cultural incubator situated in the 19th century historical brick buildings of the former Warsaw Vodka Distillery "Koneser".

Czystaojczysta (tak określano w praskiej gwarze czystą wódkę) to klubokawiarnia i wódka bar powstająca w zabytkowych przestrzeniach dawnej Warszawskiej Wytwórni Wódek “Koneser”.

We extracted the historic character of the interior by cleaning it from unnecessary elements, we simplified it by removing the secondary structure and we extracted the nine pillars around which are now organized tables with seats. To build tables and stools we have used more than 80 easels / the sculptors are using them to be able to adjust their height according with the work conditions / so the guests can decide by themselves where to sit and which elements consider as tables. The facilities are separated from the main hall by glazed walls, which emphasize the assortment and the pillars. Further more the color palettes as well as the frontal surface of the bar /by ROEM/ are directly inspired by the existing ceramic floor, which has been carefully preserved.

Wydobyliśmy zabytkowy charakter wnętrza poprzez oczyszczenie go z niepotrzebnych naleciałości, uporządkowaliśmy strukturę likwidując wtórne podziały oraz wydobyliśmy dziewięć wewnętrznych słupów wokół których zorganizowaliśmy strefę stolików. Do zbudowania stołów i taboretów wykorzystaliśmy ponad 80 kawaletów – rzeźbiarskich stojaków z regulowaną wysokością blatu, tak aby goście sami mogli zdecydować na czym siedzą a które traktują jako stoły. Zaplecze oddzieliliśmy od sali głównej szkloną ścianą eksponującą konstrukcję i asortyment. Zachowana posadzka ceramiczna stała się inspiracją dla kolorystyki i frontu baru /grafika: ROEM/.
